Amalia's villa is even better than the pictures! The outdoor area, BBQ and pool were a highlight! Everything was clean and as described. The area is nice and safe, and really well located - close to the airport (10 min) and the old town (15 min). But you'll definitely need a car! The space is very big - it was more than enough for our group of 9.
The air-conditioning in the bedrooms was perfect, nice and strong, however there is no air-conditioning in the living room area, which I fine if you keep the doors open during the day as a lovely breeze comes through the house.
She was a dream to deal with - comms were super easy and prompt - and just an all around lovely person. She let us check out late on Sunday (12.30) as she didn't have guests arriving immediately, and let us leave our bags at the house as we had a late flight that evening.
When we came back to get our bags, she had laid out a spread of delicious cakes and local treats, as well as brewed us some fresh coffee, which was such a nice, personable and hospitable touch.
